Embracing the proverb “It takes a village to raise a child”, not only do we welcome your family to our village, our hope is to become a part of yours.

Our passionate team of staff is dedicated to creating a holistic community environment for your child that embraces cutting edge techniques in the field of autism. The Village will uniquely employ flexible approaches to both scheduling and programming for your child.

The Founders/Directors of The Village are highly qualified, skilled, and knowledgeable, with a combined 30 years of experience in the field of behaviour modification and intervention. The Directors are Marnie Mills, Victoria Anderson, and Michelle Burke.  They have dedicated their lives to working with children with additional needs.  They will not only be the Founders and Directors, but will also be front line service providers working directly with the children.  Each of the Directors has a wide range of experience in the field and brings unique skill sets to The Village.

Marnie has extensive experience in designing and implementing programs based on the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS).  Victoria has an expansive knowledge of strategies for dealing with challenging behaviours.  Michelle’s expertise is in the facilitation of skill transfer and the development of generalization procedures.

Each Director has extensive experience in the field of Autism and behaviour intervention, as well as an excellent reputation in the field. Their passion and thirst for knowledge will ensure ongoing professional development and the use of current therapeutic approaches based on new developments in the field of Autism. By having shared values and work ethic, the Directors complement each other and problem-solve effectively.  It’s these characteristics that are reflected in our guaranteed superior level of programming.
